How much do Facebook ads cost in India?
There is no fixed price for a Facebook ad. You decide how much to spend per day, and Meta uses an auction to decide how many people see your ad for that money. Here's how to think about it.
You control the budget
You set a daily budget — for example ₹200 a day. Meta will not spend much more than that on average, and you can pause the ad whenever you like. There's no minimum contract.
What decides how many people you reach
- Competition: more advertisers targeting the same people (festive season, big cities) means higher prices.
- Your audience: very narrow audiences usually cost more per person reached than broader ones.
- Ad quality: ads people engage with get shown more cheaply. A clear offer and a good photo genuinely lower your cost.
- Your goal: asking Meta for link clicks or messages is priced differently from simply showing the ad.
Two numbers worth knowing
CPM is what you pay for 1,000 views of your ad. CPC is what you pay, on average, per click. Both change by city, season and audience, so treat any single number online as a rough guide.
Example only: if Meta charged ₹70 per 1,000 views, a ₹200 daily budget would buy about 2,850 views a day. If 1% of viewers tapped your WhatsApp button, that would be roughly 28 conversations a day. Your real numbers will differ — which is why it's worth seeing Meta's own estimate before you spend.
A sensible starting budget
| Daily budget | Good for |
|---|---|
| ₹100–₹200 | Testing an offer in one area; very small shops. |
| ₹200–₹500 | Most local businesses — enough for Meta to learn within a week. |
| ₹500+ | Larger cities, several locations, or a proven offer you want to scale. |
Run a new ad for at least 5–7 days before judging it, then compare the cost with the enquiries and sales it brought.
Other costs
Your ad money is paid directly to Meta. A tool or agency may charge separately. On GigaEasy, your first 3 campaigns are free; after that plans are ₹99/month (monthly), ₹79/month (billed ₹237 every 3 months) or ₹49/month (billed ₹588 a year). Your ad budget always goes straight to Meta.
See Meta's estimate before you spend
When you set up an ad on GigaEasy, we ask Meta for its own forecast of daily reach and clicks for your exact audience and budget — the same estimate Ads Manager shows — so you know what to expect before you launch.

What is the minimum budget for Facebook ads in India?
Meta allows small daily budgets; on GigaEasy you can start from ₹100 per day. For most local businesses we recommend ₹200–₹500 per day for the first week.
Do I pay Facebook or GigaEasy for the ads?
Your ad budget is charged by Meta directly to the card or UPI on your Facebook ad account. GigaEasy's plan (after your 3 free campaigns) is separate.
Are Instagram ads cheaper than Facebook ads?
It depends on your audience and season. Running the same ad on both lets Meta show it wherever it gets results at the lowest cost.
