How much do Instagram ads cost in India?

Updated 6 October 2026 · GigaEasy

Instagram has no rate card. You decide what to spend each day, and Meta's auction decides how many people see your ad for that money. Here's how to think about the cost, and how to get more from a small budget.

You set the budget

Choose a daily budget (for example ₹200) or a total budget for a fixed number of days. You can pause at any time, and there's no contract. Meta adds GST to ad charges billed in India. If your business is GST-registered, add your GSTIN to the ad account.

What changes the price

A worked example

Example only: if Meta charges about ₹80 per 1,000 views, ₹300 a day buys roughly 3,750 views. If 1% tap the ad and a third of those message you, that's about 12 conversations a day. Try your own numbers in the budget calculator.

Suggested starting budgets

Daily budgetGood for
₹100–₹200Testing one offer in one area
₹200–₹500Most local businesses; enough for Meta to learn within a week
₹500+Big cities, festive peaks, or scaling an offer that already works

Instagram vs Facebook: which is cheaper?

It changes by audience and season. Instead of guessing, run the same ad on both and let Meta place it where results are cheapest. That's the default on GigaEasy.
