Facebook ad examples for small businesses in India

Updated 6 October 2026 · GigaEasy

A good local ad has four parts: who you are, what the offer is, where you are, and what to do next. Below is the formula, followed by examples you can adapt for your own shop.

The simple formula

  1. Headline (about 40 characters): the offer, such as "Free hair spa with any haircut".
  2. First line: the most important detail. Only about the first 125 characters show before "See more".
  3. Where: locality or landmark. "Near Sector 18 metro" builds trust.
  4. Action: "WhatsApp us to book", "Call now", "Visit today".

Words that tend to work

Words to avoid

"No.1", "guaranteed", "best in India", and anything that points at the viewer's personal traits ("Are you diabetic?"). These are common reasons for rejection; see why Facebook ads get rejected.

Frequently asked questions

Should I write my ad in Hindi or English?

Write it in the language your customers use day to day. Many local businesses do well with simple Hindi or Hinglish. You can run two versions and see which gets more messages.

How long should a Facebook ad be?

Keep the headline short (about 40 characters) and put the key detail in the first 125 characters of the text. Two or three short lines are usually enough.

Do emojis help?

One or two relevant emojis can make the ad easier to scan. Too many look like spam.
